All Day Fixing Cable

Getting In The Groove With Limited Connections

Trying to get back in the grove at home but the internet connection is wonky its not off just performing at dial up speed intermittently. Some ones coming out tomorrow to look at it. So today's sketch is a painterly collage i like it well see if i cant use it anywhere. Night All.

Home Again Home Again

The trip home was not too bad. Nat and I helped mom with the chores at the cabin this morning before we headed home. Hopefully there wont be too much for her to do when she heads up next. Only one sketch today cause of the travel. I'm working on a layout for a story and this popped in my head for some reason. I like the composition of it. I'm not sure it'll work in the story though. Night All.

Last Day Of Vacation

Last day up at the cottage was chilly but it went well. I made breakfast orange pancakes and lemon butter. I also made cookies for the rest of the family for their drives back Oatmeal cookies. There were chores to do after everyone got off so, not much in the way of drawing today i do have thees two though the environment I'm working on I'm not sure it looks cliffy enough and a quick two tone inking. Well I'm pretty tired tonight so I'm off to bed. Night All.

Got Up And Skiing Plus Yummy Waffles

Today was pretty cool. Made buttermilk waffles which were a big hit. I also got some skiing time in today. Everyone had a great day today which made mom happy. We got to see some pretty cool videos of David playing with his band on the Tv. Oh and dad water skied today jumping in and out of the wake almost gave mom a heart attack. Todays sketches of an environtment i'm working on for a concept art portfolio and the other is of two fairies. Night All.

Long Day's Powered By Pancakes

Today was a lot of fun I made pancakes this morning which were a big hit. I made muffins with the batter afterwards and those were delicious as well. Everyone enjoyed the wonderful weather today and stayed at the beach from noon till 5ish which was good cause I woke up around 6 o'clock after staying up till 2 o'clock. I got one of my problem scripts all straighted out for a few pages which was good. Today's sketch is of Kaori again it's for a panel I'm working on. I really like the shape of the graphic in the second one. Okay exhausted for some reason. Hopefully the weather hold tomorrow and we can do some water skiing. Night All.

Family Arrivals

Spent most of the day preparing for relatives then hanging out with said relatives. Uncle Gary, Aunt Mel and David are due to arrive soon. Really great day didn't get much drawn. Did get some scripting done. Here's a test color for one of the sketches from yesterday and an abstraction of those colors. Also the cottage computer screen went out so i got mine to do dial up somehow. Okay exhausted. Night All

Clear Day Interupted By Painful Fingers

Another perfect day at the cottage it was cool out and clear with a bright blue sky. I got some scripting done or well at least modded a script i had in to a drawable form. I seem to have this problem with accidentally injuring my drawing hand. Mom had this pole that we use up here to put a bird feeder on a high branch. It's on of those metal telescoping poles. In any case as i was collapsing it i wasn't paying appropriate attention and I slammed down on my index finger pinching it so now it's all swollen and has blood blisters on it. I'm just glad i didn't break it. I also seem to function okay post couple hours on ice. Mom has these huge dandelions in a vase on the table at the cabin. I'm totally fascinated by there shape so one sketch today is and abstract of that. The other is a test work up of a sketch that will be a panel in story I'm working on not finished but I'm still playing with they way i want the style to come out . Dad also made it up today which is good the rest of the relatives arrive tomorrow. All in all a good day, despite finger injuries. Night All.

Unacceptably Long Absence

An unacceptably long absence i don't know what to say except that I dropped of the face of the earth there for a bit and I'm sorry for that. Alots gone on since returning home I'll try and cover all that in the next couple posts. For now I have a couple quick speed paints i will try and upload a couple each day for awhile to get my blog all caught up. I'm up north for the annual family cottage vacation. We've more people this year than usual. I think it will be a lot of fun. I hope so. I seem to be attempting to get a little ill recently not sure just tired. I hope to up load each day should be able too, but it's dial up sooo well see. I feels good getting back to posting and i fully expect to get yelled at by everyone for being away for so long.
