DMV

I spent most of the day at the DMV and making other phone calls. Today's sketches are quickie mock ups of two of the thumbnails I sketched at the DMV. I like how that turned out, so maybe I'll take them to a complete working sketch. Night all.

Heavy

Feeling a little weighed down by a sore throat. Today's sketch is a quick digital of a fantasy genre warrior type. Why is it all the tank type warriors seem to have at least one really big shoulder pad? Night All.

Punch Not The Kind You Drink

Okay another quick digital today. The character is throwing a punch. I think it came out well even if it's a bit on the graphical illustration side. Okay tired Night All.

Working On The Angle

It snowed heavily again today. Luckily it was a light fluffy snow instead of a heavy wet one. I did some quick five minute sketches today on the wacom tablet. This quick sketch of Morriganna is an example of that effort. I'm working on that birds eye view. It came out okay, I think. You get the general idea but it could be more dynamic. I think I work on that. Night All.

Options

Three different versions of today's sketch. The first is a quick speed paint over the pencil work. The next 2 I put though Illustrator and made a sort of graphic print one in color an the other in gray scale. The character looks a bit stressed, I wonder why. Night All.

Getting It Back Together

Yea I miss yesterday's update. I am however feeling better today. I did a quick color test of a bunch of things I've previously sketched up. I'm trying to find a look I like. Today's sketch is an example of those efforts and uses a sketch I posted earlier this month. I think I looks alright I think I'm going to try coloring it a couple different ways though. Night All.

Okay I Think I'm Almost Over It

Okay I'm almost over feeling sick well hopefully. I was sketching some different warrior types from references when this popped out at me. This is just a really rough sketch from the reference so if I do more with it I'll post it. Night All.
